The moment has come to announce that the Progea Research & Development team has been working on a new technological platform for industrial supervision, an extremely innovative product based completely on the new .NET 4.0, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), WCF (windows Communication Foundation) and Silverlight 4.0 technologies. This new platform, currently in the Beta phase, represents a new frontier in Scada/HMI technology, a solution destined to be the true reference point in software platforms.
A framework completely based on WPF and the Plug-in technology permits customization and integration like never before, consenting to utilizing XAML-based graphical visualizations with astounding solutions, both for animation (storyboard) and dynamic 3D and mixed 2D-3D managements.

Progea has renewed and optimized its communication driver for the Austrian B&R control devices. This Movicon communication driver is based on the PVI library (Process Visualization Interface) made by B&R and is available on the Movicon CD. By using this library you can obtain one unique communication interface with all B&R control devices.
