2009-2010 Christmas Festivities

The Christmas festivities are on their way and we would like to inform everyone well in advance of our usual company office closures. The technical support team will be working all through the Christmas period except for 24th and 31st December 2009 even though reduced Movicon users will be guaranteed support throughout.

The IOP2009 workshop organized by the OPC Foundation was recently held in Nuremburg (Germany) hosted by Siemens AG, with the scope to unite all the OPC consortium member companies to work together in verifying and certifying OPC technology interoperatability. Progea was the only Italian company among the 25 international companies participating, and was one of 10 companies involved in testing the new OPC UA (Unified Architecture) technology.

Brazil is fast emerging as a country with enormous potentialities. This was recently proven by being assigned the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro. Be reminded that in the world of automation, in concurrence with the 13th edition of Brazil Automation, the International fair for instrumentation and automation is not only the centre attraction for Latin America but the whole world as well.
