Movicon CE on Siemens MP277 and MP377 Panels

Progea has successfully test run its Movicon CE features on the touch screen panels from the SIMATIC HMI MP277 and MP377 family, based on Microsoft Windows CE OS. The main features tested included the graphics management, alarms and historical log managements, script management and trying out drivers.
These runs past the test confirming that Movicon runs and works correctly on Siemens panels both at low level (MP277) and with high performances at top level (MP377).

BACnet is a communication protocol, mainly used in Building Automation systems, thermoregulation systems and generally in control networks, defined by the ASHRAE association (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers) and is standardized by the ISO, ANSI and DIN 16484. The ANSI/ASHRAE 135-2004 standard defines the protocol requirements, where annex 1 particularly refers to the BacNet protocol in Ethernet IP technology.
