| MovBridge© is an easy, cost effective and innovative software especially designed to manage remote wireless communication between different remote scada platforms or between a scada platform and remote devices. MovBridge© is based on standard technologies like OPC (OLE for Process Control), allowing you to interface it with any SCADA/HMI or supervision available on the market (such as Movicon™, iFix™, Factory Link™, RSView™). Remote connection happens by exploiting the SMS technology of the public GSM network, with the appropriate safety criteria.
MovBridge© is a bridge applied between the local workstation and the remote workstation to transmit or to receive information by exploiting market standards only and increases performances while drastically reducing remote control application costs.  MovBridge© simplifies remote control MovBridge is a software product for Windows™ capable of interfacing with any OPC Server and can transmit or receive information from remote stations with great transparency with standard SMS messages. MovBridge© provides safety, flexibility and bi-directionality in data transmission. Movbridge can communicate with other Movbridge systems indifferently, to send SMS to mobile phones or to exchange data with any hardware device enabled in sending and receiving appropriately formatted SMS messages. Mobridge© especially supports Celind™ devices, allowing you to directly read or write any remote I/O or download Log files. According to the configuration type, Movbridge will perform the right GSM connections to transmit the requested information to selected stations, or send SMS messages to the pre-defined recipients. Movbridge© works as a wireless bridge between remote applications. The Movbridge© application communicates, in polling (after a preset time interval) or immediately (on event or alarm), the change of one or more variables (Items) to one or more remote stations (another Movbridge©, or a remote device such as ‘Celind™ ' or other) or sends SMS messages. If the recipient is another Movbridge© application, the recipient Movbridge will search its database for a local variable with the same name of the received variable. When this variable is found, and is writable, the recipient application will update it with the received value by sending the new value to the relevant OPC server. The idea is to associate Item variables, which have been attained through the assigned modem device, to the recipients. | MovBridge© benefits User-Friendly: MovBridge is easy to use and intuitive thanks to its Object oriented User Interface, configurable with just a few mouse clicks. Powerful: MovBridge allows on event or on polling communication, and allows data to be transferred by using the GSM and SMS technologies. It provides top level safety and password protection management. Standard: MovBridge is an OPC client application that can be used in conjunction with any Scada/HMI software. It completely exploits the International GSM and GPRS standards for communicating. Low-costing: MovBridge is a low-costing application that allows you to save time and money in establishing communications between various software and remote devices. MovBridge, applications Application example: by deploying Movbridge,the SCADA/HMI supervisor, in a Wastewater Plant, the control room will be enabled to receive alarms immediately from the pumping stations. These alarms wil then be displayed and recorded on the PC and communicated by telephone to personnel on call duty. Movbridge makes it completely possible for personnel to command remote stations, perform local commands, to acknowledge alarms or change set points directly from the Plant Control Room. Where can it be used? Movbridge can be deployed in any system needing to send information from a PC workstation to a remote device, or to another PC, or to one or more persons using SMS messages.
