MovTracer marks Progea's entry into the market of information systems to optimize production and Company quality. MovTracer is above all an engine for gathering and filing production data in a centralized data storage system. The strategic and vital information for factory production activities is linked to the various production departments and company business processes; applications of traceability and aggregation, performance and KPI efficiency (Key Performance Indicator), assets management, machine downtime analysing and any other type of production situation can be traced and highlighted by beginning from one unique centralized data storage source.
MovTracer has been designed by Progea as plant-wide data storage product completely independent from Scada/HMI systems, with the same I/O drivers and OPC technology used by Movicon. This means MovTracer can be connected to all the production and industrial automation control systems, irrespective of whether these consist of PLC, Tools, Balances or other HMI/SCADA applications.
