1) Movicon 11 Beta version
Movicon 11 beta version has now gone public, 15th
January to be exact, with its main new features
published in detail on the Progea website at link:

The new product, completely compatible with the
previous Movicon X platform, offers many innovative
solutions for greatly increasing productivity,
reducing errors and increasing functionalities and
performances.
Progea has dedicated great time and effort in
carrying out tests since June
2007 with the “Alfa” version and since September
2007 with the “Not public Beta” version, which will
conclude with the official release in April 2008.
Enormous commitment of the Progea team, the alliance
of other companies working together in the beta
testing program, guarantee an extremely reliable,
fully tried and tested product ready for public
release. Not to forget that 2007 saw the Progea
technical team grow to 4 expert technicians
dedicated solely to laboratorial testing. Whoever,
among the Solution Provider Users and qualified
users, wishing to use the Movicon “Public Beta”
version can get reserved access for downloading the
Movicon 11 setup (335 MB) directly from the Progea
offices or local dealer.

2) Positive Results for 2007
As usual, January is the month where time is taken
in consulting and analysing whether goals set for
2007 have been reached. Progea take great
satisfaction in the fact that not only have their
set goals been reached but also exceeded. The 2007
yearly turnover targeted at a 15% increase on the
previous year is in fact, and Progea can gratefully
declare, a +21% increase instead, which is also due
to the good results achieved by Progea Deutschland
GmbH. Net profits have had the same success allowing
the company to continue investing even more in
innovation, R&D and extending its structure both on
the technical and commercial side.
The trust received from Clients and partners has
inspired Progea even further to improve its products
in every which way possible by being proud to
represent Progea technology and creativity worldwide.

3) Benefit by subscribing to Technical
Support 2008
A campaign has started for renewing or subscribing
to the yearly Technical Support. This year’s
subscription includes further and consistent
advantages: upgrade included in the new Movicon 11
version. When subscribing or renewing the yearly
contract, not only can you exploit the efficient
technical support services and contact staff
directly on the Hot Line support service, you will
also get a free product upgrade, where a new CD and
consequent development license upgrade from Movicon
X to Movicon 11 will be sent directly to your
doorstep.
By paying very little extra for this service your
company will greatly benefit and be rest assured
knowing that they can get effective and immediate
technical support whenever needed from the direct
hot line service and free updates with their
reserved user access privileges.
Those who are not interested in this service can,
however, use the free customer help services via
email or web, and decide whether to get updates when
needed or purchase upgrades later on.

4) Workshop 2008 Calendar
The new Seminar & Workshop 2008 calendar has been
published and can be viewed at the Progea website

This year’s seminars will concentrate mainly on
training and presenting the new features offered in
the new Movicon 11 product. The Seminars and
Workshops give you a great opportunity to get a
basic grip on using the Movicon techniques and are
free and open to all users. Those who are
interested can email or fax a written reservation
indicating the date they wish to attend. Progea will
then reply with confirmation or alternative dates if
no places are available for the date requested and
provide notifications of any change-of-plans.
