This post is dedicated to the Movicon 11 product.
To avoid confusion, please open a new ticket in the dedicated forum section „Movicon.NExT Scada“.
Thanks for the cooperation.
Are you working with Movicon 11 or Movicon.NExT?
Check out these steps:
1 If you flag the „Enable Password Manager“ on the webserver application ,
each webclient connection will ask to be authenticated with a user and password defined within the Movicon project
2 Did you save and restart the web server application? Have you check that there are no more active concurrent project sessions from the task manager?
Als Antwort auf: What are the latest updates in Movicon Next Build 27011 März 2020 um 3:47 pm #35881
You can check the release notes under the Support section of this web site.
the 270 build part will be soon updated, but i can anticipate that are only minor changes comparing the 3.4.269.
If the backup project is protected by a development username and password, it is necessary to contact the closer Progea office to start an unlocking procedure in which the intellectual property of that application is guaranteed.
By considering the specificity of your request ( seems to be a problem due to the configuration of communication tasks & Controller memory areas ) I can suggest You to open a support ticket on our website so that You can interface directly with the Progea Technical Support Team.
In this way we can technically investigate the problem at a higher level of detail. The Progea Technical Support Team will be happy to help you in solving the specific problem by analyzing the backup of the project, the logs and all the information they will ask you if necessary.
Please evaluate the Alarm Mask Filter property of the Alarm Windows
Alarm Mask Filter
A filter based on the status of the alarms to be displayed in the window can be set in this property. Click on the ‚…‘ button on the far right of the property to open the following settings window
The filters are:
Alarm ON: active alarms which have not yet been acknowledged will be displayed
Alarm ACK: active alarms which have been acknowledged but not yet reset will be displayed
Alarm OFF ACK: inactive alarms which have been acknowledged but not reset will be displayed
Alarm OFF: inactive alarms which have been either acknowledged or not acknowledged but not yet reset will be displayed
NO Alarm: inactive alarms which have already been acknowledged and reset will be displayed
Here on the forum it is not possible to transfer directly a file.
Given the specificity of the request I kindly ask you to open a ticket in the support section on this web site in order to send via mail all the necessary material.
A Progea technical specialist will follow your problem.

The suggestion in this case is first of all to make sure you are using a recent version of the driver; and then procede by steps with a communication minimal test project and only a few variables.
A test with Movicon.NExT 3.4.268 incorporating the latest version of the Siemens driver is recommended.
Have you verified if you are interfacing a supported data areas?
Therefore, an invalid server certificate must be present.
Then check the path „C:\ProgramData\OPC Foundation\CertificateStores\RejectedCertificates\certs“ or
„C:\ProgramData\OPC Foundation\UA\Discovery\pki\rejected“ that no certificates classified as invalid are present.
If present manually delete it.
It is also possible to recreate the certificate with the appropriate command between the ribbons at the top of the general server settings.
Please refer this topic and the „Element Number“ property of a comm. task :
INT variable in the controller, FLOAT tag in Movicon.NExT.
Element Number in the I/O Physical Address of the variable = 1
Add an Engineering Unit like : EU 0/100 – Instrument Range 0/1000
Use the same Engineering Unit in the tag property.
It should solve your issue.
You can use this site > Company > International distributors
To identify geographically the Progea direct office or the Progea distributor closest to your area.
They will be happy to give you all the commercial assistance you need.
What you have described should be a known problem with version 11.6.1201 which has already been solved with the upcoming version 11.6.1202. The new version should be released in a few days. In some specific cases, the same behaviour has been reported to us.
Please try by adding the redundancy status variable.
This variable is „Mandatory“ to understand the status of the various servers in case of redundancy.
We have noticed that with the presence of this variable the problem in some cases has not occurred anymore.
This box is used for selecting one of the variables from the Movicon Real Time DB which will be used as the Redundancy’s status variable. The meaning of each bit of the selected variable depends on the Server where the project is being run:
Bit 0: Primary Server. This bit is set at true only in the project set as Primary Server
Bit 1: Secondary Server. This bit is set at true only in the project set as Secondary Server
Bit 2: Active Server. This bit is set at true only in the Server project active at that moment
Bit 3: Secondary Connected. This bit will be set at true only in Primary Server projects when the Seconddary project is connect to the Primary Server.
Bit 4: Synchronization in course. This bit is set at true in both projects, Primary and Secondary, when synchronization is taking place between the Secondary Server and Primary Server
Bit 5: Drivers startup on Secondary. This bit will be true in projects set as Primary Servers when the Communication Drivers in the Secondary are activated due to an error in the Primary Server.
Bit 6: Secondary Server. This bit will be true when the Secondary Server is connected to the Primary Backup Server. It will start blinking when controlling the presence of the Secondary Backup Server
Bit 7: not used
