Let me make a premise, please note that the product Movicon 2000 has been discontinued from many years (more 15 years). And this forum session is for Movicon 11 CE.

The support on Movicon 2000 is not more guaranteed on this software release, and most important thing the technologies used at that time are no longer used in the Emerson recent products.

Anyway Movicon 2000 embeds a powerful VBA compatible engine.
Basic Scripts resources can be written using VBA instructions to manage logics, functions or to interact with the project.
Furthermore, you can also use the Basic Scripts resources to manages DAO™ (Microsoft Data Access Object), ActiveX or use the API interface.
