    Hi,
I’m trying to send SMS Notification using Moxa Oncell G3150A-LTE, Message Sent popup message is coming while running plugin test, but I didn’t receive any SMS.
We used Moxa Oncell g2111 earlier for testing and I successfully got SMS Notification with the same configuration. Does any Configuration have to change for this SMS Modem?.

    Hi Praveenraj,
I found from the link below some information:

    https://www.moxa.com/en/products/industrial-network-infrastructure/cellular-gateways-routers-modems/cellular-gateways/oncell-g3150a-lte-series#specifications
It seems to me a nice device full of settings and configurations…

I saw that it has a serial port, ask Moxa support if you can get text messages ASCII on this port.

    Regards
    Robin

    Hi Robin,
Moxa technical team and I tried a lot, but unable to send SMS using this Make from the Moxa.
Can you suggest any modem that supports Serial SMS AT Commands and dual SIM Redundancy?

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
I have never used a dual sim modem, but it could be an idea in a redundant application.
In the past I used 2 modems also because the AD was not inserted in the redundant processes of Movicon 11. Now with the Movicon.NExT the AD follows the redundancy settings configured in the I/O Data Server-
I had also looked at the moxa model you posted in the previous link.
I thought it was interesting, but what kind of errors are coming from this device?
A Dual-sim Modem I think it handles all the sim management inside it and should be transparent anyway

All you have to do is give Movicon’s dispatcher the baud rate and the COM…the initialization string …nothing else …

For everything else i think the Dispatcher of Movicon knows nothing about the management of the dual sim , it does not send specific commands for the SIM…

    Regards

Hi Brian, I used the earlier Moxa Serial modem with a single sim, that works fine for me. Now for the redundant purpose, I use this dual sim modem. Communication wise there is no problem. While trying test run plugin, Message sent Message is displaying in Movicon next, but I am not receiving any message.

Even I checked the logs in moxa modem for the Movicon test, there seems to be no error, but I’m not receiving any messages. But SMS is receiving while trying with other tools like putty and pcom emulator via this same modem, I’ve discussed with Moxa technical team also, they have no idea about the Movicon. So, they are unable help with this issue.

I verified the initialization string, com, baud rate in gsm plugin, all seems to be perfect.

    Hi sir,
Have you looked at the logs to see if there are any error messages that can help understand the problem?
The alarm dispatcher create its DB and its table containing the error messages in SQL

    Hi Robin,
I checked the log in db, there seems to be no error. Message sent log only i found there. Even i checked the logs of modem also. There also no error. I found one small difference in log of modem, while sending sms Using Putty or emulator :CMGF=16 or 15 will present, but trying with movicon :CMGF=1 is the result
