    Hello,
How can I link between SQL Server Query Parameters and Report Parameters when I need to customize Report (data logger) between StartDate and EndDate

    Hi
    – First step create these “variables” in the report designer , Field List ; here you can add the 2 parameters that you need like “StartDate” and “EndDate”.
In the report properties , Data , Filter String you can build the filter string like : “[LocalTimeCol] >= ?StartData And [LocalTimeCol] <= ?EndData”
-Then, you can dynamically put the values over these parameters in the report command , parameters…
Here (in the command parameters field) you can match the report parameters with Movicon internal variables…
    – So, you can set “StartDate” and “EndDate” according to 2 Movicon variables that you can populate on a screen display for example before to run the “show report command”.
You can check the report example preinstalled with Movicon NExT , you can find a little example to customize at this folder
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Progea\Movicon.NExT\ExampleProjects 3.4\Reports

    Hi WANGRENZHI,
Normally I create the connection to the DB directly in the report properties (execution , reader item source reference).
If you do it later in the report designer you have to create a data source in a custom way (small arrow on the top left of teh report)

    Hello! BRIAN 73

I have solved the database connection problem, thank you!!!

In addition, I want to create tag variables in the report. The time tag variables are: hourly and daily. The data item tag variables are: hourly and daily sum. This is for the purpose of making shift reports and daily reports. Thank you very much.

Crystal report directly has this kind of label variable.

    Hi
I think you can use the SUM available with the calculated field in the report designer environment.
