    Hi Euros,

that message is only a warning that Movicon views when can’t create the compiled file (Screen.movscr_c). Usually it happens when in the screen there is an ActiveX.
    Anyway, it isn’t a problem.

    Regards!

    Hi,

to use the print command you have to create a Report with Report Designer. If you look at the properties of the HisLog Windows, you will can see a ‘Create/Edit Report file’ command and only once create it you will be able to use Print button.

    Hi,

in the Help is written that the Terminate Driver function is ‘Only available from external COM clients. Not available from Supervisor BasicScripts’.

Anyway, why you need to terminate the communication in this way? What do you think about using State/Command variable on Station..?

    Hi,

only way to do this is using Script code in the Report (in C#, but I never used it) or manage the value from VB Script of Movicon and pass the result to the report as parameter.

    Dear Cristiano,

your Driver’s General properties have strange values. Try to resume the default settings and change only the:
    Polling Time = 0
    Unused Polling Time = 0
    Error Polling Time = 0

    Hi,

ok, now I saw.. I tried with the 3D button Style 1 and with that object you can’t see the error.
In my opinion you can report it to the support of Progea.

    Hi Iwillkeinspam,

try to uninstall Movicon, disable the UAC (User Account control) in the control Panel/User Account(you need to be an Administrator), restart the PC and re-install Movicon.
Moreover, where are you see the message? Which operation causes the error?

    Hi Aleb2,

to create what you want, you could create a DataLogger with related variables, and create a Report for it with Report Designer. Once created the Report, you can view, print or save it with a Command findable also in the commands list of a button.

    Hi,

have you got an old version of Movicon? This because in my 3D buttons, the Tag 3DRoundLevel doesn’t exists…
If I try to create it, I get an error also opening the file .movscr from an XML Editor, so I think that is a little problem of the Movicon version you are using.

    Hi Igruz,

The version 3 PLC need a 3S dll, in order to complete the connection. The GwClient.dll must be present in the client system, in the Supervisor directory or in a directory included in the path environment variable.
In order to establish the connection with the PLC, a valid program must run and the program symbols must be exported

    Hi Cristiano!

Your Script can’t work if the button is in another screen, because it can’t to refer the object Trend.. Try to use the following code and you will can see that in this way it will work!

    Public Sub Click()
    Dim objTrend As TrendCmdTarget

       Set objTrend = GetSynopticInterface(‘ScreenWithTrend’).GetSubObject(‘Trend’).GetObjectInterface()
       objTrend.ExtSettingsFile
       objTrend.LoadExtSettings
       …
       …

    End Sub

    Best regards!

    Hi Lukas,

maybe it is the wrong Help! Try to have a look on the GenericDriver.chm in the installation folder of Movicon and search TCPIPStationInterface (or precisely ServerAddress): there you can see how to change Runtime your static Server Address!

    Hi Lukas,

ok, in this case you have to switch on the backup Address (with the conditional variable), change from Basic Script the Server Address Property(see Functions and properties of TCPIPStationInterface), then re-switch on the primary Address.

    Good work!

    Hi Chy,

a possible way to do that, could be using in the Station properties a backup IP address; in this way, using also a State/Command variable, you could select with which IP address the Station have to communicate.

     Hi Moskvichov,

as already wrote Anbushiva, have you checked that the Device IDs are correct? Moreover, have you tried one device at time?
